The documentary film Lords Of Nature was all about a project in hopes of restoring yellowstone with the return of wolves. I found it very facinating how the existience of 1 animal out of all the animals in the world could restore so much life. I enjoyed it alot, it kind of blew my mind. The land was so dead and destroyed then it completely transformed into something bright, lively, and beautiful. Logos and ethos was presented excellently in this film. Pathos was presented by the explanations of the dangers and fears people have when it comes to predators. They deminstrated that they were correct about how wolves were very neccessary for balance and they were very credible.
Everything was created for a reason and everything has a purpose in life, even if you don't realize it in the beggining. As I read thinking like a mountain i was a litte confused at first. It talked about how the people feared the howl of the wolf and how the wolves were not welcome to live amongst them so every chance they got to take one out they took it. It was like a game, it made their blood rush with adrinaline, pleasure and excitement and this was the usual. Until the story took a turn and that rush was was no longer existent. This particular point in the story caught my attention the most because I didnt expect it.The writer felt regret for killing the wolf and at that very second he knew it was wrong because he could feel it in his heart. The mountains and all its creatures had connections that werent meant to be broken, but he figured this out alittle too late. Without the wolves there was no balance and without balance everything was pretty much destroyed. In the end i found the reading to be very enjoyable.....
